As previously mentioned, I believe that local presence is the most important element in a single or in a capital chain shop.
It is important that a store manager or owner for that matter, is active in the local area, with events, happenings, product demo, DIY tips and tricks.
I have previously implemented local activity programs successfully in several industries – and it delivers great and important local roots and loyalty over time.
Whether it is evening events, news presentations or trend events, it does not matter. As long as there is a purpose and a chance that it may prove offensive, this is a great asset to the shop in the long term.
